The tools on the Preferred Path site grow from decades of mediation, negotiation, consultation, and teaching following my graduate studies in theology (Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and psychology (State University of New York at Buffalo (M.A., Ph.D.).
The Preferred Path approach to reconciliation and peacemaking is grounded in a step-wise approach to dealing with conflict found in Matthew 18:15-17. The model has been applied in Protestant and Non-Denominational groups, as well as Roman Catholic organizations.
